The line

Your inbox has exceeded its allowance. Borrow a server's response for a day when every favor, meeting, and quick question arrives at exactly the wrong time.

Clean front. Loud back. A small REGEX wordmark sits on the chest, with the main line across the back. One ink per garment. Comes in Black with white ink or White with black ink.

The joke, explained

HTTP status code 429 means Too Many Requests. A server uses it when a client has sent too many requests in a period of time. On the back of a garment, that technical response becomes a recognizable way to say your own capacity has been reached.

For the teammate whose calendar needs a rate limiter.

Questions

Why is 429 the right code for an overloaded day?

It is the HTTP response for too many requests. The design applies that server-side limit to a person who has received more demands than they can handle.

What does the smaller retry message add?

The back print asks the reader to try again later. It completes the server-response joke while leaving the wearer a little room to recover before another request.
